Hello! 1. Which is best place to find updates about GLS and TALER integration progress? 2. Will it have a beta test phase with GLS users? 3. Or will be GLS - TALER integration process only internal? Thanks ---

I emailed them end of last month asking for beta-testing access and their response was: > Wir befinden uns momentan in den letzten Schritten, bevor wir mit öffentlichen Tests beginnen können und müssen Sie an dieser Stelle um noch etwas Geduld bitten. Translated: > We are currently in the final stages before we can start public testing and must ask for your patience at this point. ---

Most probably yes, but the conditions are still unknown at this point. Selected German merchants with a GLS bank account should be part of it, as should any potential buyer with any bank account in Germany. I’ve heard the spending limits would be quite low, e.g., for testing purposes and not for your daily shopping (in the order of ~ 50 € per transaction with ~ 150 € / month limit). We will update our Taler website soon, where you will be able to find all future relevant information. Regarding the current situation: As you have rightly noticed, the ‘final’ stage is taking longer than initially anticipated. Some activities have taken more time than expected, forcing us to delay the public beta. Unfortunately, I cannot provide you with a definitive launch date at this time. 2. Yes and no: there will be a test phase, but it will not only be open to GLS customers. 3. The integrations have already happened internally. The next step for us is to make it available for you to use and experience. Best, Leo ---

[Taler - in Zukunft digital, sicher und nachhaltig bezahlen - GLS Bank](https://www.gls.de/taler/) I dont understand, why not publish some (not detailed) information via gLS newsletter, muston, ich forum? …instead people (customers of GLS Bank) asking individually via email and internal banking message system?
