Quickest way to get an integration development environment?

Hi,
what is the quickest way to get an integration development environment, this is AFAIU: a merchant service running.

I’d prefer to have this running in a container to avoid interfering with my system. The merchant’s docker deployment seems to be gone. Are there any other options? (My favorite would be a guix service :slight_smile:

Hi @htgoebel, I think you are looking for sandcastle-ng.git - Scripts for the deployment of Sandcastle (GNU Taler).

The only other packaged option (besides Debian) I’m aware of are fairly outdated NixOS packages.

There also be “soon” the option to simply create a merchant instance at demo.taler.net so that you can use all of the demo-infrastructure (exchange, bank and merchant) and concentrate on integrating. (“soon”: it is implemented but not yet tested and deployed - target for v1.0)
