If you want to try Taler for yourself, you can follow the Taler demo.
The demo will first tell you to install the Taler Wallet. If you already have it installed, before reporting an error, please remove the extension and reinstall it: the wallet code is updated regularly and your old version may have issues that have been resolved since.
Once you have installed the Taler Wallet, you should register to the demo bank so you can 
withdraw KUDOS to your wallet. KUDOS are a fictional money.
