Accepting GNU Taler payments as a Merchant first requires an Exchange operating with the currency you want to provide payments with. Each Exchange has its own regional limitation, thus it is important to first check whether Taler is planned to operate in your region. GNU Taler Wallet owners don’t need to be located in the region of their Merchants: payers only need a bank account balanced with the currency of the Merchants they want to pay at.
